Appeal after woman assaulted by teen

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information after a woman was injured during an altercation last night, 31 October.

Some time between 7:15pm and 7:45pm, fireworks were being set off by a group of youngsters. This was by Baden Powell Lodge in Hedge End.

A car parked on Pavilion Road was allegedly targeted, and so the occupant of the vehicle, who also had a young child in the back of the car, confronted the group. It’s reported that one girl then assaulted the lady causing minor facial injuries. The group are said to have then left the scene in a taxi.

The girl has been described as being white, 14/15 years old, around 5’6 in height and with short auburn hair. She was wearing black trousers, a black jacket and white top. She also had a bag with a gold chain.
