Man charged with GBH and possession of weapon after brawl outside pub

Police have provided another update following the altercation, which took place outside The Robin Hood pub in Sholing.

The incident happened on Friday 19 August, at around 12:15am.  A man was taken to hospital following a brawl, where it is believed a baseball bat was used.

Thomas Lewis Kerby, 27, from Bursledon was charged with GBH with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been remanded in custody following an appearance at Southampton Magistrate’s Court today (22 August).

He will next appear in Southampton Crown Court, on Friday 23 September.
