Witness appeal after man attacked by group

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault in the city centre.

Shortly before 3am on Saturday morning, 20 August, there was an altercation outside a club on London Road. It’s alledged that three people assaulted one man in his 20s during the incident.

The man who was assaulted needed to attend hospital, where he was treated for facial injuries.
