Police update on murder investigation

Police have provided a further update on their murder investigation following the death of a 19 year old man on Sunday 24 July. The incident took place in Langhorn Road.

You may remember that the victim suffered a puncture wound to his lower back and abdomen. He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Five males were initially arrested on suspicion of murder. One of those males, a 46 year old from Bursledon, has been given conditional bail until 21 August, but the other four remain in custody.

In addition to the above, police have today arrested a 35 year old Southampton woman on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She also remains in custody.
