Police appeal for witnesses after man was knocked unconscious in Millbrook

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Millbrook on Saturday evening, 9 July.

A man in his 40s was walking with a friend along Crabwood Road, near the junction of Glencoyne Gardens. They were then approached by two men who had come from the direction of Wimpson Lane.

One man, with no top, punched the victim. As a result, he was knocked unconscious and suffered a laceration to the head.

It’s believed there were witnesses to this incident, and police have urged anyone with information to come forward. Specifically, it’s understood that a man with tattoos tried to intervene in the assault, and another man came down from the overlooking flats.
