Phone snatched from man as he got off bus

A 30 year old male had his phone stolen in broad daylight today. The theft happened on Bridge Link Road, Woolston, just after the victim had stepped off the bus at around 4:50pm.

The phone is a silver IPhone 6, with 128GB storage. The owner would welcome the safe return of his phone, and has asked people to look out for anyone selling it on local sites.

The victim did give chase across the road towards Woolston train station. However, there was too much traffic on the bridge and his attempts were to no avail.

The culprit is described as being a white male, slim, with dark hair and around 5’9 in height. He had facial stubble, and was wearing dark blue tracksuit bottoms and a t shirt.

The police have been notified of the theft.
