Teen threatened with knife and robbed of bag during sale gone wrong

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15 year old boy was threatened with a knife before having his bag stolen, on Colby Street, SO16.

The incident took place on Thursday 9 June at around 17:00.

After making a sale of a replica Louis Vuitton bag on Snapchat, the boy turned up to the location to exchange the bag for money.  Shockingly, instead of paying for the bag, the boy who met him said he had a knife, demanding that he hand over the bag to him.

The victim complied and watched as the boy cycled off with the bag, thankfully the victim was not injured.

The police have released the following description of the boy they would like to trace:

– Black
– Aged 17/18 years old
– 6 feet 4 inches tall
– Slim build
– Wearing a balaclava, black tracksuit and trainers
– Riding a bike

If you were in Colby Street last Thursday at around 5pm and see someone matching the description, the police would really like to speak to you.
