Mercedes pulled over and seized

Police were on standard car patrols last night and had a little bit of a result.

Two officers were driving along Victoria Road in Woolston. They spotted the pictured car behind them, and decided to stop and check the relevant documents were in order.

On reviewing things, it was found that the driver did not hold a valid licence. Unsurprisingly, therefore, the vehicle was uninsured.

The driver of the vehicle has now been reported for the offences. In addition, the Mercedes ML280 has been seized.
