Police are looking for witnesses after a collision involving a bicycle

Police have appealed for witnesses in connection with a collision that happened early this morning, 13 April. The incident happened at around 7:50am.

Police were called to Albert Road North in the city centre. It was reported that a car had collided with a cyclist whilst travelling in the same direction.

As a result of the collision, the 20 year old female cyclist suffered a broken collar bone.

The car did not remain at the scene, and as it stands, the only information is that it was a saloon type car.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have captured the incident on Dash Cam.
