15 year old boy arrested in connection with a stolen bike

Police were out and about today across the city. Their vigilance and presence wasn’t without the odd success.

In one ‘swoop’, they spotted a moped being ridden, and further checks confirmed that it had been reported stolen.

They caught up with the bike, and as a result a boy of just 15 was arrested; he remains in custody. 

Transpires that the moped concerned has in fact been involved in several incidents so it was a good spot? Needless to say, it’s now off the streets.
